What Our Customers Say

“Emil transformed what had become a very stressful project into something we are genuinely proud of. After a previous builder left us with an unfinished garden room and a largely incorrect structure, we were understandably concerned about whether the project could be saved. From the moment Emil arrived, we felt he was up for the challenge and shared our vision of creating something special. Emil carefully assessed every aspect of the build, considering structure, health and safety, practicality and long-term durability. His planning skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities were exceptional. Nothing was left to chance. He always recommended the best approach, used high-quality materials and brought innovative ideas and solutions that significantly improved the final result. Together with his skilled team, Emil completed foundations, timber works, drainage, insulation, electrics, rendering, painting and decorating, landscaping, and patio installation to an outstanding standard. Throughout the project, communication was excellent, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about achieving the best possible outcome. Emil is passionate about his work, takes immense pride in his work, and consistently delivers quality that exceeds expectations. The finished garden room is beautiful, practical and built to last. We would highly recommend Emil and his team to anyone looking for professionalism, expertise and exceptional workmanship.”

“I was very impressed with the service I received-very friendly, great communication and hard working. I continued working from home while the work was being done as Emil and Antoni were very discreet. Having had previous bad experiences with builders, I can say that Emil and his team were not only reliable but also very supportive with the advice they gave me and carried out the work to a high standard. I intend to use their services again in future. Thank you!”

Lounge redecoration with open stairwell and upper landing
“Emil's firm had done some earlier outside work for me and I had no hesitation in asking them to redecorate my lounge. They stripped wallpaper and rendered the walls, an old house so not too smooth, but sufficient to take flawless coats of paint. In addition, they repainted my stairwell, removed the existing carpeting and laid a laminated wood floor. They did a couple of extra jobs not included in the spec at no exta cost. The final job was very professional, finished to a very high level and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.”
Good and happy work for garden concrete base and pathway
“Emil and his company General Building worked on a concrete base and slab pathway in our garden for us, we feel happy about his work and it is very easy to work and communicate with that is very important. Other than delivering quality work on what we need, Emil is also very thoughtful on those minor stuff such as cleaning, disposition of any unwanted rubbish that is out of his work and his responsibility. He also makes good suggestions on what we should do afterward of his completion of work for us. It is a good and happy work with Emil and his company”
